You
will need:
1 Used Milo tin
1 Wire coat hanger
Length of string/rope
Dirt
Take a used Milo tin, the bigger the better, and punch a neat, small hole in each end (bottom and lid). Fill with sand and dirt. Pack it down hard and wet with water if necessary to ensure it is solid. Next, take coat hanger wire and push it through the tin. The wire becomes the axle so keep it straight. Once through, bend the wire at right angles to the tin and again at 45 degrees until the ends of wire meet in front of the Milo tin, which should now roll on it’s side. Twist wire together carefully then test the roll of the ‘truck’. Securely fasten your rope to the end of the wire and be sure it is centred. Your Milo Truck is now complete!
Instructions
for use:
Run around like a child possessed, pulling your truck behind you. A tug will
give it a burst of acceleration (great for jumps) and making truck noises with
your mouth will greatly enhance your Milo truck experience also. Try joining
two together to form a road train!
NB: Trucks smaller than 450gm are not recommended for serious Milo Trucking.
